A bustling resort, with a lively cultural scene, an elegant old casino, a huge flower market and some spectacular mountain scenery just a few kilometres inland.
Portosole Marina:  immediately to East on entering the harbour; room for over 800 yachts on laid moorings, maximum length 90 metres and maximum draught 7.0 m. Shelter here is good in all conditions although very expensive.

Porto Publico: the commercial harbour immediately to the W on entering the harbour. Inside there are several pontoons operated by private companies plus a transit quay, operated by Circomare Sanremo, with space for up to 15 yachts. Maximum length 16.0 metres. Maximum stay three days. Depths on the pontoons range from 2.0 to 6.0 metres. Shelter is good in all but strong S/SE winds, when a surge enters the harbour. Don't expect to find space in peak season (July/August)!
Ashore: shops, chandlers, laundry.
