For many, this is the last stop before crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean.
Moor: call marina on arrival or departure VHF 09 and the Tenerife Port Control on channel 12, and they advise you.
You must go to the marina office as soon as possible ( before 18:00 h ) with:
- boat’s documents,
- all passports,
- last official bill from last port
- a credit card.
Immediately after you have to go the the National Police in the Maritime Station
300 berths; max LOA: 80 meters.
Tel: +34 922 292 184
; Fax: +34 922 247 933 VHF ch 09 (24h.)
Ashore: water, electricity (requires an electric connector and a 50€ deposit), toilets, showers, fuel (contact marina office at least one day in advance), recycling point, Wi-fi, laundry (24 hrs self-service), chandler, boat services (mechanics, electricians, electronic, sail makers, divers).
Approach: The harbour entrance is difficult to see from sea, especially if approaching from the north or the east. Conveniently, the Auditorio De Tenerife (which looks like a much smaller version of the Sidney Opera House, see image below) is right by the entrance and is visible from some way off.
Don't miss: the carnival in February.
