Marked on Navionics as anchorage on north side of quay. Depth dictates the quantity of yachts space, shallows from 3 to 0.5 metres. Tide of 0.1 meters, however ferry arrivals create an additional swell. Water available from a public tap. Bins nearby.

Our plan was to moor on harbour wall, it was completely full on our arrival. Found this space on the town quay instead. Dropping anchor and mooring stern to with our 1.74 keel depth, we had 0.1 meters under us! Loosened stern lines, tightened anchor chain and using our tender as a ferry... we were fine. Busy area but great entertainment from cockpit, ferries, coaches and bicycles everywhere. 5pm entertainment when the tourist boats arrive back, chaos in the harbour yet we were nicely out of the drama. Bars and restaurants everywhere, music until early hours yet we heard nothing on the north quay. Swell from huge blue star ferries can be significant at 22.30 and 13.00 arrival times.
