A useful port just 220 NM from the Canaries.
Moor: the entrance is hidden, sail pass the main harbour in direction to the beach. The marina is loacated near the beach South of the commercial port.
There is reported to be plenty of space in the marina and security is good. Note, you cannot pay the marina fees with a credit card if the marina office is closed. Check the price with the marina staff before getting the cash to pay, as they calculate your stay per day, not per night.
Immigration and police are officially on duty 24 hours at the marina, however if you arrive out of normal working hours you may find opening times are "flexible". It's likely the authorities will come on board shortly after you berth (although Customs don't work on Saturdays and Sundays). Papers must be originals and not copies. The return of stamped passports can cause a delay as the stamp is kept in the main port. On departure, you will not be permitted to clear out the night before and depart at first light, you will have to wait until the offices open in the morning.
