The picturesque and popular town of Rovinj is one of the most visited in Istria. A medieval port Italian style with attractive cobbled piazzas, a busy cafe culture and mazes of narrow alleyways, lots of little shops to visit and restaurants galore.

A year-round Port of Entry. Visiting yachtsmen can berth temporarily on the customs quay (berth stern-to the inner side of the breakwater) to clear in but must then seek a berth in the ACI-owned Marina Rovinj. The officials' offices are just north of the harbour breakwater.

386 berths for yachts up to 25 metres.

It is also possible to anchor in an emergency in the bay S of the marina, although depths are considerable and shelter indifferent here.

Don't miss: Sundays in August the main street of Grisia turns into an open-air art exhibition
