Rouda western beach, Levkas (Anchorage)

Coordinates: 038° 37.870' N , 020° 41.608' E
Country: Greece

Description

Small pretty bay popular with super yachts. There's a cave on the NE corner where superyachts tie back that you can swim into to find a small beach in the darkness.  Busy during the day with small boats, but peaceful at night.

Anchor: there is room along the north shore (west of the cave) for two or three yachts to tie back. Depths are good all the way to the beach where it shallows rapidly.

Warning: There is an easily spotted, isolated rock just below the water surface close to shore in the centre of the beach but you shouldn't be anywhere near this under normal, circumstances, just don't bash your dinghy if taking it ashore.

A very quiet spot given we were here in August.
