It is a tourist resort town and the island is linked to the mainland by a bridge, 3.5 miles east of the estuary of the River Guadiana.
Warning: strong current running across the entrance.
Moor: on arrival berth at the reception dock (second turn to port on entry lying just beyond the travel lift and crane, outside the marina office).
