Located between Montaña Roja and Montaña Amarilla with the majestic views of the Teide mountain range in the background this marina could not be more scenic. This marina is very convenient for the Tenerife Sur (Reina Sofia) airport with cheap charter-flight connections to Spain, UK, France, Germany and Holland making it ideal for crew change.
The marina is located under the influence of Tenerife's SE wind acceleration zone and therefore a windy place!
Warning: the S-facing entrance is quite narrow and you must turn hard to starboard just after you pass the end of the breakwater; the entrance might be dangerous in strong onshore swell. A line of yellow buoys to port as you enter, mark a shallow area with rocks.

Moor: book in advance in high season. Call the marina VHF Ch 09 before entry. The visitors' dock and fuel dock are located to starboard, 200m from the entrance. The marina office is in low white buildings near the beginning of the breakwater.

Ashore: showers and toilets, fuel dock, laundry service and an ‘online’ supermarket service - the staff will make the purchase for you and deliver to the boat on the day and time chosen by you making this a good marina for provisioning before the Atlantic crossing. Visitors also benefit from discounts on excursions, sports activities and a local spa.
The bay north of the Montaña Roja is a popular kitesurfers.
The yard has a 60-tonne crane.
