Nice town with plenty of tavernas and shops.
Mooring: there's space for about 40 yachts on the town quay and for another 7 to anchor in the harbour. Holding is good on a strip of sand in the far corner by the beach, which has buoys to protect swimmers. Elsewhere holding can be poor with patches of thick week making it difficult to set.
The harbour is well protected from the predominant NE winds, so when there's a blow it fills up quickly and you'll need to call ahead to reserve space on the quay. When busy, you can avoid the chaos in the harbour by anchoring outside and taking long lines back to the rocky mole.
Ashore: the town bus will take you straight to Sami via the Mellisani caves.

Lots of room to anchor and go stern to on very high town quay. We're only small (10.5m), so lucky to have steps by boat. Electricity and water plus mooring are free before May. Nice town - did not explore extensively.

Lovely place but absolute chaos in the harbour during a blow. We counted over 20 yachts vying for space. Those that didn't set properly dragged through the weedy patches.
