Country: Greece

Description
One of the best equipped marinas of Greece.
Moor: call the marina on VHF channel: 77, call signal: Kos Marina before entering. You will be met at port entrance one by the pilot boat and get assigned a place. Moor stern to the pier.
Kos Marina is a charter base for many charter companies, visiting spaces might be rare during weekends.
The marina is open to the north-west, the prevailing wind direction in the summer, so the Meltemi can blow in.
Ashore: in the marina, beside provisioning, there are various accessories stores and a very nice bar with a relatively affordable breakfast and in the evening a late night snack. From the marina to the centre of Kos, it is about 15 minutes walk along the shore.
July 2019 €39 per night for 13.4m. €30 deposit for utilities fob which can also be used in the town harbour. €4 for approx 500L of water.

Fantastic marina, great staff, clean and well maintained. Rod the God describes it as the one other Greek marinas aspire to, there are a few marinas on the coast of Sicily that could learn a few things from Kos.
