A friendly place where sailors are always welcome.
Moor: stern to or long side. Electricity, water and fire extinguishers. However, the power is not yet connected; sanitary facilities are still under construction (2009). No port charges.
The deep valley mountains north of Batsi offer no protection against the Meltemi.
Ashore: everywhere in the village there are shops, tavernas, souvenir shops, etc.. Prices are moderate, the service good, so at the request of the baker brings the rolls to the boat in the morning!

Batsi harbour, room for 12 boats stern to. Drop anchor in sand and rock. Man wearing high visibility vest will rush to take ropes. Apparently he expects a tip, although there is no harbour fee! (He didn't get one) Town lovely, plenty of gyros 😀 supermarket opposite harbour.
