Statue of Miguel de Cervantes, who fought here in the famos battle of Lepanto. He got wounded and lost the ability of using his left hand, later saying that this was to the glory of his right hand (since he became the famos writer of “Don Quichote”).

Kind of funny to find a statue of the Spanish national writer here in Greece, but it reminds you to think about (and dig in) european history.Helpful (no users found this review helpful yet)
