Many private mooring buoys used for local fishing and tourist-tour boats. Though, in low season is possible to moored onto unused moorings. Good access to Sliema waterfront with shops and restaurants.
Swell will enter the creek in strong E-NE winds.

While dining at the Black Pearl on 16 June, 2018, we asked if there were rules for using "available" moorings. We were told in no uncertain terms by someone there that these were private and that there is a 500 Euro fine for using them without permission. The man was a local waterman our waitress suggested we speak with who emphasized they were private several times, said that the owner could show-up without warning, and was certain about the fine. We know there are others that have used these moorings for years without trouble, and I'm guessing there wouldn't be a problem unless many yachts start using them at the same time or there's an incident of some sort.

We had a quiet couple of days here in June. Well sheltered and a short ride in the dink to all the chandleries and other attractions along the waterfront.
