Description
Kyra Panagia Bay is a series of deep bays on the south west end of Kyra Panagia Island.
Anchor: There are several bays in which are reasonably sheltered.
  • the northern bay (north of a small unnamed island), Paigniou Bay is the most secure. Although well sheltered from the Meltemi, gusts can come racing down the hill, so take a long line ashore and make sure your anchor is well set;
  • the eastern end is a larger bay. Anchor and tie back to shore, clean sandy bottom with good holding.  There is a small rock mole on the right hand side but it is quite shallow;
  • in the SE bay. Crystal clear water in deserted surroundings although it does get quite busy.
