This ancient Roman port is tiny with a very narrow entrance and a 90 degree turn after entering. Water depth is 2.5m at the dock and contains approximately 40 berths for boats up to 15m LOA. The port was excavated sometime in the transition of the Roman Empire and finished in the Augustic age. Built by excavating 60,000 cubic meters of rock it is an amazing place to stay with great protection.
The port tends to be very popular in the high season so best call Enrico on 077 185 122 to book a space.
You will most likely be tied up bow in as it is shallow in parts along the wall, slime lines are provided and long planks to get of your boat.
The town has shops to restock from, there is power and water included and places to eat are plentiful.

I have stayed here a total of 6 days over two separate seasons and look forward to returning once again.
